I take that the ones that viewed this and did not reply do not . Could be they thought it was dumb to even think of doing such a thing . I decided to ask because several folks have made comments about some rods being tough /others breaking . My grandpa used 80 lb. braid , solid fiberglass rod , and would swing one in the boat . He also bought hooks only if he was allowed to bend one to a 45 degree /and back . If it did not break he would buy a few as they were sold as singles . lol
