Is that the fight that i read about today where the FBI investigated it as being fixed at that time?

Why is the fbi investigating a fight that happened 50 years ago ? obsurd if you ask me. Ali/Clay was the greatest heavyweight during the hay day of boxing. Norton, Frasier, Young and a few others could have beatdown any of todays big guys in the ring.

Ali was loud, political, a self promoter of the highest level, and "A BAD MAN" jmho

I don't know about that, it was the fight that Clay won the title.

I would have to say Rocky Marciano was the best Heavyweight Champion !!!Marciano is the only person to hold the heavyweight title and go untied and undefeated throughout his career !!!

Rocky was a true champion that ran the table on the fighters in his day. Not trying to take anything away from him but do you think he faced the number of quality challengers that Ali did? Rocky was before my time so I defer the question.

he was before my time as well I am going on old tape of his fights and from what I have been told by some old timers they say Ali would have never stood a chance with Rocky Marciano but who knows anything can happen !!!

I just like watching some of these old fights from boxing history. These guys were tough and I remember watching a lot of them as a kid but I can appreciate it more now that I'm older. Ali, Frazier, Sugar Ray, Leon Spinks and who could forget Big George Foreman.
