Thread: Hey Big C

If you don't think it was tough today, just look at this! BAD HAR DAY!

Long story short.....place we had rented had busted pipes, so no water. It did have gas heat. Plumbers were called early Friday but did not show til 5:00pm. With no parts to fix anything! Well, we moved next door to a buddies place that is all electric, at 10:00 pm, POOF! The power blows, a transformer out front has got something jiggy going on with it. 2 hours later, power Co. shows up and kicks power back on and promptly blows out our meter head. Dude shrugs his shoulders and says" anything from the weather head to the meter isn't his problem" and drives off into the delta flatlands in a hurry. I thought about taking a pot shot at his ass about that time but he was out of range of my concealed carry and I didn't want to waste a bullet. So there we were in the middle of the night one place with lights, a single gas wall heater, and no water. The place next door, with no heat or lights, but has water. And everything we brought with us strewn in between. Well, we made out best we could and arrived at bait & thangs this morning, where I promptly ran over GDG's foot with the boat trailer. I'm just glad we survived the weekend and have arrived safely at home SWEET home in one piece.
