    My mother use to make them patties and called them cornbread fritters
    Charter Member LHLC....Where the skin is thick and the stringers are heavy.

    All of the above. After reading this thread I made a batch with some fried fillets last night. Thanks for reminding me how good they are, whatever you call them.
