    U may not believe me but u were actually lucky that's all that happened. I promise u it can get ALOT worse. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the ramp is not really steep... Lots of boats wound up on concrete because of this. That thing will shoot off of there like a rocket! Ha.

    I realize I was very lucky. Normally even after I get the trailer in the water I have to "gun" the motor in reverse to get the boat off of the trailer. But this time I had ice between the carpeted bunks and the boat. It would have been a sad day if I had gotten crooked on the ramp and had to hit the brakes. I won't unhook my strap anymore until its in the water. Lesson learned. Lol

    Yep, glad you learned it the easy way. I've seen a couple come off the trailer halfway down the ramp. Good looking fish fry also. Can't wait to try some.
