    Default Low temps


    With temps getting ready to drop below some 20yr records i wondering if there will be a big fish kill on butla pretty sure it will kill of most of the shad but what will it do to the crappie?Any thoughts?

    Don't think it will hurt them much. Don't think temps will stay down long enough to drop temps that much in the depths of water. Should kill off a bunch of shad and congregate most of the fish in any deep hole you can find.

    I launched the boat one morning several years ago when the temp was 8 degrees. Limited out real quick like. It doesn't stay cold long enough to hurt anything.
