I bought my Masterbuilt 30 with remote and probe at Bass pro on black friday 2012 for $80. I noticed the model 30 on sale for black friday 2013 had less stainless and no glass in the door for $160 to $190. I've cooked a turkey, picnic, poppers and crappie so far in it. Well worth the money.
I have oak, hickory and cherry in the firewood stack. I chip some of it instead of buying the chips from the store. I'm looking for some pecan and apple to cut. I saw some pecan on craigslist for free, but trash pick up beat me to it.
Kroger had picnics on sale for .99 per pound last weekend. I was digging through the stack for 2 about 10 pounds each. I bought 2 about 9.80 pounds, the third was 8.2 with a miss marked ticket, .59 per pound.

Bass pro, Sportsman's, Academy has them.

I entered "masterbuilt smoker" in search and went to their website. Clicked on "find a retailer" but it doesn't work. Home Depot and Lowe's icons were at the bottom of the page. Amazon and bestdeals were on the google page.

I ordered mine from WalMart.com and they were running a free shipping to your house special. They're made in GA.

Default Man I hope it's warm

All the reviews said the glass doors were extremely hard to keep clean, I know one thing, I pulled that butt off the smoker and let it sit for about 40 minutes, unwrapped it and slid the bone out of it like butter, it was sho nuff good. Handi gave me an idea, gonna take some of the meat and make pulled pork nachos out it.

My glass got messed up pretty good when seasoning the cooker.
Are you suppose to clean it?

Some if the reviews on the web said you could clean it as soon as you finished cooking with mild vinegar and water solution before it dried
