    Default Care package

My sister and brother in law are here from South Carolina and my bil belongs to a deer club out there. They average about 180 deer a season and draw 70 doe tags a season. Some where near Columbia. He brought me a few packs of the jalapeno cheese deer sticks he has made in Orangeburg. Man these things are the bomb! I ain't gonna be able to eat none till I get my new teeth thing over with. They make a great snack while hunting or fishing.

That is a nice care package. Hope you enjoy some SC spice. Ask your BIL if he is a member of this forum.

It is to deer hunters in SC what Crappie.com is to fishermen.

My Bil is so old school, if it weren't for his metal building business he had, I don't think he would have ever touched a computer. He spends most of his spare time outdoors. They live in Summerville! There are so many deer out there I think some zones have no limit on either sex.Everybody hunts with buck shot and dogs in his club from pre assigned stands and they draw for meat at the end of each hunt so if you didn't kill one that day you still walk away with meat!. Season opens in August and closes in January.Gotta look out for them 6ft. Eastern Diamondbacks due to the warm season but what's cool is all the bucks killed in velvet! He does have some private land that he rifle hunts on the side!I love it out there! So much history!

I think SC has the longest deer season in the country. They are becoming pest in some areas where development has precluded hunting. Driving on Hilton Head Island at night is dangrous because of the deer.
If you can get him on that webiste, I would not be surprised if some of his buddies from the club are not on there.
Good bunch of fellas, like on here.
