    So when are you taking him to the lake to show him how to run it? Does he have the right DF and TM?

    He don't have a GPS/Sonar unit, says he's scared he won't be able to learn how to use it. Lol I'll show him what I know, might take 10 minutes. He's got a 70# Minn Kota cable steer. He wants to learn to pull cranks and he's got a 115 hp four stroke Yamaha so I suggested a Troll-a-Matic trolling plate, though he could pull from the front okay with the cable steer.

    Tighten the tension screw bout as tight as u can get it, located in the front down at the bottom, and it'll work fine.. That way u can take ur foot off to land a lunker and it won't go crazy on ya.. It'll still work great when steering with ur foot too..
