    For this time of the year? These were caught in 20' of water right off of the bottom. They were absolutely full of eggs

    No I don't think that's normal, not for the sacks to be blown like that, those look like eggs you would see in Feb or March, that is strange.

    I caught some on jigs at Okatibbee on Sunday that were right on the bottom in an old ditch that was 4 ft deeper than the surrounding water. They were mostly males. The females didn't have developed eggs though. That's weird.
