Don't think I would do that if you are wanting her to hunt close, if shes got it all she needs is the woods and encouragement from you when does good. Get a tracking collar, one of them good ones and you will know where she is at all times. Lack of one of these collars is the only reason I don't have one rite now.

Don G, I went this past weekend and bought Nessa and I a little Feist Pup for Squirrel hunting. She's got us wrapped around her fingers already LOL
