    Killed in panola county. It seems really early but have seen rut activity the last 2 days. Saw a really good fight 2 days ago.

    Not sure about weight but think the buck was 6.5 yrs old. He had a ton of fat on him. It's a hill deer and they rarely get over 200 on this place. I suspect he was 200 or better.

    I have been so lucky to get a shot at two mature bucks this year. All I do is bow hunt and I rarely get a chance at nice buck. Thanks for all the congrats. I was/am very happy
