    That will work.
If you had a mold you could cast up some with every size weight that you could. Carry about a dozen of each on the boat to see which catches fish the best.

With Scott's rig you carry a few forms, a few drops for the top and a few drops for the bottom ready made. And a few extra sinkers.
All of my drops have a loop on the end for easy change out.

All this sophistication gives me a hade ake , y'all laughed at my jewelry on my make shift rigs to push with power trolling the other day and hurt my feelins.
Went back to the drawing board and come up with sumpin that didn't work at all, just a mess, went back to what works.

I just go and buy the wally ones and get 2 for about 3 0r 4 dollars in 1/2 3/4 ounce ready to go and keep some spare hooks to go on them. I don't thnk I have lost one yet, bent a few that wont work anymore. Its a lot easier than making them yourself. and before anyone else says it you cant hide money.

Now John, I didn't laugh at your jewelry on my make shift rig. It just looked different. If it works, use it.
No different than using a plain hook, adding lead to the head, adding paint, adding colored feathers or hair and glitter.

I just have to be doing something instead of having the tv on, or while watching.

I have bottom bouncing molds for 1/8 oz through 3 ozs. And have some rigs poured up with them. That allows me to use 2 jigs per rig. And being I have them in all different sizes its easy to swap out to what I need.
