Got some new shoes for my Single 6 since that pic was taken, think I like it better than my Single 10. I sure didn't like those black rubber grips.

They're good, solid rifles and you wind up with a LOT of gun for the money. The wood is great, the metal finish is fantastic, and the wood to metal fit is way above the bar for the price point. Some will come with good burling on the stock. Accuracy is great. Another big plus for some is it's available in .22 mag for only a few dollars more. But... The lever in .22 lr. will cycle .22 shorts as well...
Two gripes- The stock is cut in a very traditional configuration with a very low comb. A solid cheek weld is nearly impossible for an adult and you're going to have a hard time staying on target while cycling the lever. Either your head is going to be cocked over or you're going to be looking over the barrel. Next, the sights could be better, or at least I wish there was an upgrade available. The standard buckhorn sight is waaayyy outdated, even in standard iron sight configurations.
All things considered, the low comb was enough to prevent me from buying one myself. I want to run it, but I want to be accurate when doing so, or at least get better while maintaining decent shooting form.
WK I think its available in 17 HMR as well.
