Funny how marketing goes, they announce on the same day Lowrance announces their new stuff.

I'm gonna wait until they come out with one that distinguishes species, shows you which fishes are biting that day, and what the best days to have a tournament are on!!! :-)

I just use binoculars to find the folks that have spent the money to buy one of these fancy rigs. Y'all ever tried that?

By the way, I was just kidding. That technique is only used by lazy lowdown fishermen that won't put the proper time or money into finding fish on their own. It's disgraceful for a person to do this. IMO.

I love my binos for the hard days. I saw a guy one day a Washington jumping from spot to spot using binos. Guess he was having a really hard day.

I use binos all the time. But only to make sure nobody is looking at my spots and marking them.

Just looked at the ion series...has me scratching my head. I don't see that much whiz bang or improvements. Touch screen, yeah but so what. Wireless Internet browser...no thanks. Apple beat u to that by about 10 years. Sure there's more to it that I'm missing but I didn't see any must haves.

Exactly!! I have one I bought on here from good time, that thing only requires turning on and it tells me everything I want to know. I have high dollar machine on the bow and it tells me absolutely nothing.
