I think that video proves the strength JW, but the bronze will rust. If you have a box full of rigs, and they get wet by rain, or any other type of moisture, you will have a rust problem. They will rust after you use them a few times as well if you use your rigs over and over without changing them. SS is better in that scenario. I do change all my rigs for a tourney, but I use them until they break when just fishing.

FYI, the best knot I've found for tying the Fas Snap on the rig is with a Uni Knot. Holds tight without slipping once tied. I can't get the double line through the eye of the snap for a palomar knot. The double cinch knot works, but the Uni snugs up better for me. JMO tho.

Sure do. Don't change entire rig just change hooks and jigs out.

Try the Burke knot too. Works on everything and easy to try brm. I understand on the rust issue but i am usually fishing combat style and mine dont last forever like many folks cause i fish in da brush lol. Also i went to the dry box for my fly storage. Ck it out may save your flies too. Yall gonna make me change aren't ya lmbo.

The Burke knot is the same as the Uni but you double the line which is tough getting through the eye of the Fas Snap. If I could get the doubled line through, I'd tie a palomar!!!!
