    My 19ft tracker came with the aluminum on already on it

    I've got this one on my tin boat. No problem with it. It's been on for 2 years. you just have to clean the paint off on the install.

    I e-mailed Keelguard awhile back and asked about aluminum and they told me that it would bond and stick to aluminum better than fiberglass if....you removed the all paint where applying and roughed up the aluminum surface with some sand paper

    Tried one did it as per instructions came off after 3rd time on the water.

    I just roughed up the paint with the pad that came with the kit like the video showed, and haven't had a problem. We've installed quite a few of em and haven't had to replace one yet.
    We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
