My guy put a new carb on my weedeater for $51 parts and labor. New weedeater is over $350.

I buy the cheap Weedeater brand weed eaters at WalMart about 78 bucks for the feather weight ( nice and light and easy to use) ran one 7 years, ran another three years when it gave up...I just toss them in the trash when they quit working right and go get another one. I do a lot of weedeating too...Three acre yard to trim up around and I weedeat all the way around a 3/4 acre pond. I do the same with my hedge trimmer....on my second one now in about 12 years lol. To each his own but that's how I do it.

That was the exact cause of my leaf blower not working--those spark arresters are fine mesh screen and they clog easily--after cleaning it and reinstalling it--runs like brand new....

I have checked the usual stuff and I don't have "G"s money to throw it away. Don't think many folks would throw a $400 hedge trimmer out. Im certainly not going to... Feelay send me a PM with your guy's number if you don't mind.

    "G" don't have any money....that's why I don't own a $400 hedge trimmer....I run a $90 weedeater brand one from WallMart.....That's why I can throw it away after 7 years of use
