Since government was shut down they had to farm out the act of putting up barricades. They first asked an Arkansas contractor for a bid. He said 1000 dollars. They asked how he got that price and he said $200 for materials, $400 for my men and 400 for me. They needed more bids so they asked a Bama contractor. He said 1500. $200 for materials $650 for my men and $650 for me. Then they asked an Illinois contractor. He said 5000.The federal man asked he got that figure. Illinois contractor said easy. $2000 for me, $2000 for you and we'll get the guy from Arkansas to do it.
