Yeah that Tommy Skarlis who won the tournament is one of the top walleye fishermen in the country. Seen him on TV in walleye tournaments many times. I've often wondered if some of the walleye techniques would translate to crappie. Guess I got that answer now huh??

And vice-versa I suppose. I have always wanted to retire up north somewhere.... Maybe I am in training to become a walleye fisherman.

I've got some Flicker Shad and I've trolled them next to Bandit 300s and the Bandits kicked their butt. I'm a little scepticle of this whole story.

the only thing the planner board does it get the bait further away from the boat, I used planner boards this year for the first time longlining and caught some real nice fish !!!

Me too Scott, I've got a lot of them but after a while I left them at home.
