If I was a fish, I'd eat any one of those in the pic above. Any other ideas is just icing on the cake..

We're gonna be in your boat so you da man. I'm just trying to get some ideas on what a clear water jig is. You put us on the fish and I'll supply the bait. Lol I'm getting some good info from the folks that know so I think we'll be okay.

I think he uses quarter ounce hair jigs.....he has some that he makes and sells that are made just like his grandfather made them. PM me and I will give you his cell number. He has ads in the sponsor classifieds....you can see his jig colors there....probably a phone number there too.

I'd love to catch a smallmouth. Never even seen one.

Get yourself a 1/2 to 3/4 oz purple and black skirt spinnerbait with the biggest black colorado blade you can find. Start at daybreak on the point to the right of the Pickwick Landing Marina entrance and work down the swimming areas to the riprap and down the riprap toward the dam. Repeat at dusk and you will see some brown fish. If you can find some big shiners at the local bait shop, drifting below the dam is always fun but wrong time of year to see many smallies.
