I'm still tired from that one! Lot of fire when we arrived.

My friend from work has a friend that lives by them. There was another house that burned down not long ago in the same area.

The house next door burned down 2 yrs ago. There were 3 houses that were built 19 years later than the rest of the sub division. Those 3 houses were suspect of having aluminum wiring. 1 house burned because of a hot iron or something left on.She just got to work when she got the call that her house was on fire. They rebuilt that house. The heat coming from this house melted all the siding on the other house that had burned. Melted the basketball goal, busted the windshield of a old Cutlass that was parked back near the garage.Singed the very top of a tree that was overhanging the shed. The tree was at least 50ft. tall.Feelay, you work outta that fire house on Sweeney Rd?You come back on that call I made the next morning? Was that you up on that chimney?

Naw, I was at station 1 on Stateline. We were second in. I fought the fire from the back. That Cutlass was handy for getting over the fence.
