With all the info on the Internet just buy the parts and do it yourself. It will be done right that way.

Hotrod1 this is DD we are talking about here. He's pretty good at some things but mechanicin ain't high on that list. Don why you paying someone to change a water pump you just changed?

If it was a helicopter, YEH, I could fix it. Just not a boat. LOL

I had all of the above done, plus some more work on my motor (90 HP Mercury) 3 cylinder. I was told the same thing about running Seafoam to clean it out. Only problem with that, as far as my motor was concerned, it had been sitting up for several years. I might have dislodged something bigger and done more harm than good to the motor had I not gone the route of disassembling the carbs, cleaning and replacing worn or dry rotted parts, fuel lines, tuneup, etc. She runs like a champ now. I don't know how to work on them myself, so I had to hire someone to do it for me. It gets expensive.
