    Default Boat question

I have a 60 hp 2 stroke yahamha. Well i had some buddies from church call and beg me to use my boat to go gator hunting with(his boat motor was messing up so he needed a boat). I was very hesitant but let him use it.
He calls me as soon as he back the boat in the water and tells me the motor fired right up(like it always does) but the steering wheel was stuck. I tood them jus to use the trolling motor until the batteries were low and then bring it back so I could look at it later. Then he calls me back 2 hours later and said he touched the steering wheel to see if it was unfroze and low and behold it was. Said they didnt do anything to it to make it work it just started working. He says that it feels like it just needs a good greasing.

As a new boat owner my questions are this:
Where do I need to grease
What type of grease or lubricants do i need to get
Are there any alomites that could possibly need greasing?

You have alemites there where the steering cable mounts on your motor.....I just use the same grease that I use for my boat trailer bearings....marine trailer bearing grease ( lithium based)
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I shoot a little WD40 on the steering rod for good measure.
