    Default Trailer light upgrade

OK so I got a bug up my but since I have a light out on my trailer I want to upgrade to LEDs. First Ranger sure knows how to build a trailer. They welded steel tubes to run the wires through. The only thing I Don't like is the marker lights are pop riveted which mean I have to drill them out and replace with screws and nuts or buy some stainless poprivets. I do have a question. I've never dealt with those splice clips --- when you take the old ones off and put new ones on does it mess the main wire up and does it stay water sealed or is it best to change the whole thing main wire and all?

If your wires are working now they should be fine, you gonna like the LEDs.

Cool. If I had my rathers I would just built the while harness and solder all the connections but don't want to spend that much time plus would be a pain if a light got broke to swap out.

I have pop rivets and gun, you are welcome to them. I bolt my lights on. Have a heat gun and water proof connectors also.

The led kit I have comes with all the wire harness made up, when you unhook a taillight cut the wires and tape the new wires for that side of your lights and pull em out.

Can't find a proper kit for mine.
Got 4 amber 4 red and the tail lights
I can piece it all for under a c note plus it will be what I want. Of I ran new wires I would do exactly that but doesn't look like ill need to to that.

No worries Carl--i can stand up and get the job done lol
