I think the game warden shot that one. Last year some campers reported seeing a gator kill a doe that had come to the water to drink. The next morning the campground manager opened the gate to the campground at 6 am and drove down to Collinsville Landing. There was a dead doe without a head on the bank beside the pier. While he was standing there, a big gator swam across the cove and started chewing on the deer. The game warden was called and he shot the gator. He was over 11' long with about a ft. of his tail missing. He didn't show any fear of humans and he had to go.
