Default Please explain fruit jar tournaments

    Fruit Jar Tournaments defined:

Fruit Jars are where good folk get together and throw a little money in a jar and then go fish to see can catch the most and the winner gets the bit of money, all the glory and most of the bragging rights........then they argue about the rules incessantly like little girls on the Internet. Then, whichever girl wins the argument, they get named prom queen for the following tournament. Then all the geezers take a nap. And then DD says sumpn ignernt followed by a request for advice on how to fix sumpn that he ignores and proceeds to go about it the hard way.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I wasn't much interested in fishing a tournament but after Wannabe's explanation I might have to fish at least one to see all of this. Sounds entertaining.

Which is the only times in FJ history when DD gas a plausible expectation of catching more fish than WB.
