I saw a cougar go from a 3 to a 10 in a little joint up in Columbus one nite, it was just about closing time.

Back 25 years or so, somebody up in Bolivar Tn. Killed a cat that took up the whole tailgate of a full size pickup.
I saw it with my one eyes... Don't know what it was, but it sho was big.....
I used to hunt up there and more than once I heard a scream down in a bottom befor daylight that scared the sh$$ out of me.
Needless to say I did not hunt Down there that morning!!!

I believe cougars of some sort do migrate through our part of the world every so often, but many a grown man has been scared to death by nothing more than the sounds of a screech owl or a fox.

It could have been an owl, but whatever it was, you don't want any of it....

Raccoons can really scream too if they are being closely pursued. My dog has been into it with them a few times and its a freaky noise.
