I have a 10in hitachi miter durn good saw only prob is board width,got the sliding miter saw from harbor frt will cut a 12in board.

DonDon, Make sure you get one with a dust collection system. Some of the cheaper saws have cheap bags that fill up quickly and will spill out when you take them off to empty them. You also have to jerk or pry them pretty hard before you can get them off. Good luck on this purchase.

Better get a slideing miter saw then unless you want to flip the board and cut twice. The 10 inch slideing miter saw that's on sale at Harbor Freight right now is a good saw....it has a 15 amp motor......just get a extension cord with large guage wire don't need any 14 guage stuff running saws.
