Bears seem to be a nuisance to me, where ever they are plentiful people constantly have problems. They raid garbage, bee hives, camp sites, unoccupied vehicles, and anyplace they think holds food. Why the heck is the MDWFP transplanting these things? A few years back some folks wanted wild hogs, I hope this bear thing doesn't turn out like the hog issue.

We have bears, all they do is cost me money!!! They can tear anything up. They can eat 300 lbs. of corn in a week. Be glad when we get a season!

They are cool to see once in a while but when they decide to stay around they can cause some serious damage and aggravation. We have a very dense population in a 5 county area, but only get a 1 day a year season. Good thing they don't breed like a hog.

They radio collared 6 more behind the levee where I hunt. Had 4 on camera last year. I'm not a huge fan of the bears.

AR has a good bear season
They have a decent quota and it runs about 2 months (depending on when the quota is reached.)

    Bears- native. Hogs- non-native.
