had to take the wife to an appt yesterday over in Germantown. Well as we were coming our turn off the Explorer died--lots of traffic. I got it started back up and had no other issues. Ran the codes this evening and it's leading me to a vaccum leak or bad sensor (fuel rail pressure sensor) What isn't fun about it is you have to take the intake and no telling what else off just to get the the dern thing--what a pain
Hope you get it lined out Mike
That sounds like just to much fun Mike. Especially as hot as it is. Hope it's just a vacume leak.

good luck man, I cracked into my F-150 a few years back and after I had everything taken off, I realized I was in over my head and had to trailer it to the shop. Hope everything works out for ya. If all else fails, use some duct tape!
childs play really just a pain to HAVE to do it. Got a bug up my but when I have my Bronco and decided to tear the engine down and rebuild it--did it over a weekend--but the only reason I did (I found the problem 4 years later) was because the check engine light and though I had a bad cam. I did find the issue which was a $20 relay--least I had a "new motor" that I knew what had been done to it
Of course too I was younger and had more money then![]()
you are going to have to get a ladder to get you up high enought to see the motor in that explore
