    Finally broke down and got one. Like I need it!!! I have at least 5 boats all with units. At least 5 decent units on the shelf. Still if it comes through it will be a heck of a deal. If not paypal and mastercard are gonna be tested.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
    The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
    The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
    a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

    Seeing as the next item down is the Humminbird 597 ci HD at $599.99, I suspect the one above listed at $95.99 is the basic 597. Both are listed an the same page. Results for humminbird 597 - Sorted by Best Match on Page 1 (1-20 of 40 Items) - OpticsPlanet

    worth the 95 bucks if just for the gps if you don't have one onboard. BUT I figure they will come back and say they are out of stock, mispriced or sale went off 2 minutes before I bought mine. If something sounds too good to be true it probably is. If it is the old model still 640x480 ain't bad. Have an older fishmark 480 and til I got a 997 a few years back it was the best I had seen.
