Thread: Back Home

Glad you are back home Scott, like Major said just do what the doctors say. Staph infection is what put me in the hospital a couple of years back, I had a long talk with the doc about it and he told me that most of the people who got it did so while in the hospital, that being said, he also told me that all you had to do to get it was walk into the Wal Mart with an open wound on your hand and grab hold of the wrong cart, it is serious business. I got a piece of steel in my hand one Friday while working and went home and got it out and used alcohol and neosporin as I always had. That Monday while I was working all hell broke loose, my hand swole to about twice the normal size, next thing I knew I was in the hospital being prepped for emergency surgery, I almost lost my hand due to it, anyway I was not hijacking you thread just though everyone should know this. Take care and speedy recovery man.

You're not hijacking Sammy, that's what this thread is about, how easy something like this can throw us on our butts. My wife is a nurse so she's gonna make sure I take all my meds.

That's completely different Sammy. A fella can loose a hand and he still has a spare....Scott ain't got but one butt. Besides, he'd never be able to figure out how to sit without it.
