Thread: Prayers needed

I found out 2 weeks ago that my cousan has cancer.When it was discovered and removed the doctors didn't know how far it had spread.Yesterday I received news that it was wide spread and it is terminal. She has a few months to live.She is in her mid- forties.When she was born, she was a miracle baby.Her mother, who at the time was a professional dancer who had tried out for the Rockettes but because she was too short was the only reason she didn't make it.On a trip to Baltimore with one of my male cousan's they both contracted polio which was occuring in Baltimore at the time. She was paralized from the neck down the rest of her life and in a wheel chair.She had had 2 son's earlier and had always wanted a little girl.After discussing this with a doctor, he told her that she was able to have a child but it would more than likely kill her.9 months later, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Tina.She was born perfect in every way.My aunt was in a iron lung for a few months and died.Tina never got to know her mother.As I sit here typing this in tears, she will soon be united with the mother she never knew! I thank God everyday that He allows me to live and just look around if you think you have problems and you will be humbled for sure. Praise God!
