I have had a ruger 10 22 and they are nice guns for sure. All the research I have done says this is just as nice and the conversions for the ruger didnt get real good reviews.

Have never had one but arent the ,17hmr rounds alot more expensive than 22lr?

Get a slide fire stock and upgraded trigger and they are nice. When you can find .22 ammo

My neighbors grandson purchased one (works at Wal-Mart) and we put 150 rounds down range as fast as we could without a hiccup. Only problem he
had was the Remington ammo (New & Improved) was very inconsistent. Numerous pows and occasionaly a pif would happen, but no failures to feed.
Loaded it up with Winchesters and all pows and very consistent. First experience I've had sending Remington (New & Improved) rounds down range and
was really dissappointed. A real fun little gun to shoot, but myself.............. I'll stick with my Ruger 10/22 Tactical. Have fun with it, when you can find
the ammo.
