Those are female black crappie. They not as fat as slabin but they are blacks

Blacks...I don't know what would lead anyone to think they are female. I can only tell sex during late winter and spring months.

How the h#$$ would I know, I always get corrected..........

I said female because I am used to cacthing them at the Rez. The males at the rez usually have a darker color than the females down there. Did not take into consideration that these came out of Sardis or butla.

I been trying to figure out what these were.

Rees, them's blacks in my book.. But I don't know what causes the goldish color. They'll get that goldish color I them in the Rez in the summer???? Maybe someone with more knowledge can learn me something
