The little honey is doing surprisingly well today. And the younger dachshund is loving the attention. She is the black and tan one.

Hate it Kdavid.I've only had a couple good dogs in my life and its stuff to lose one.Good smart dogs are hard to come by,kinda like people.

Always tough to lose a member of your family. My Brittany Spaniel had a major stroke almost 2 years ago and had to put her down. I still have moments where I think I hear her dog tags on her collar running through the house. She was with us almost 17 fabulous years! Thoughts are with you and your family!

Sorry for yalls loss Mike! After I lost my last dog I said I was not gonna have another! Not!I got the ugliest Shar- Pei you would ever want to see! Only his momma could love a face like that!He hangs by my side all the time! I'm not sure if he's goin first or me!Time heals all!

well I can say if we didn't still have Sophie we would probably get another (would be easier for me that's for sure)

We've got the same combo at our house cept the red is the female. Gotta tell ya, I think having two is better than just one (although we now have 3). I think they're good company for each other, especially when we're not home. Wouldn't take a million bucks for any of them.
