Have Terrova 101 lb on my boat. Runs 5-6 on the ipilot to hold 1.8 mph, calm to light winds. Have an 80 on my tin boat and it's about the same.

I had a 101 with three group 31 batteries on the Predator; it was good for about 5-6 hours. Since it wouldn't last all day and to save money and weight, I went with the 80 and two group 31 batteries on the Blackhawk; it's good for about 5-6 hours.
As for the speed number, I don't believe that's relevant to your battery capacity. Depending on wind mine runs on 6-7. The 101 maybe 3-4. And yes, when your batteries start dying, your speed number will ramp up trying to maintain, then everything dies at once.
If you think you will be out their past lunch, use your outboard going into the wind, and your trolling motor with the wind.

My 101 runs about the same as Feelays but I can pull 11 or 12 hours EASY with the cart batts. Ducker and I pulled for over 6 hours solid at Sardis the other day, Ree and Tammy wanted to go back out after the weigh-in so we did, pulled another 3 and the meter said it was still at 50%.
