Doesn't ur charger have 3 sets of leads? 5amp for each TM battery and a 3 for the cranking battery. Each TM battery shud b on its own lead an the cranking bat on the 3 amp, like the drawing. At least that is how I've always done it.. I've never had a charger that didn't start charging as soon as it was plugged up. Some, like my MK, will go thru a cycle for 24 hrs after they are charged. Like my MK, if it doesn't stop blinking after the 24 hrs, there's a problem. Like low on water, or maybe a bad battery.

Yes exactly like ur drawing.. Only thing with promariner is it had two light .. Red and green.. Green only means fully charged and in maint mode.. Red and green means charging / or somen is wrong..
My issue is normally after charging overnite i got a green only light which tells me it recharged and is in maint mode... I have had the new batt in since yesterday afternoon and still got the red and green light.. Sorry if confusing ya .. Im just hoping its a fuse or the rep is right and it will go to maint mode after 18 hours

Red and green means everything is great or everything sucks? So when you get the signal that everything is great you have to wait 18 hours to be sure it didn't mean everything suced? Are you sure you're reading the instructions properly? That just doesn't make sense.

Exactly.. All it says in the manual is green light only means charged and in maint mode... Red and green means charging..... But the rep told me that if its not charging it will show red and green. Then he told me about the 18 hr scenerio ( which the manual says nuttn about).

When i intalled the new batteries, the battery bar on the terrova showed full, so i was expecting just a green light this morning.

Its a promite 5/5/3..... The manual is easy to google and read

Hangdog, my pro mariner when plugged up gives a blue and 2 reds. When charged it gives a blue and a green. Just went to shop and checked. I am going to go out on a limb and say one of those lights is a power indicator. And I'll bet you blew a fuse.

If this charger doesn't work out, get you a Minn Kota. Anything red is bad!

    Fully Automatic Charging Overview

When the ProMite On-board Marine Battery Charger is turned on the green
AC power indicator with turn on followed by the red charging LED indicator.
The Automatic Charger will provide the following:
ProMite Charging - Red and Green LED On
During this mode the ProMite will use its available charging amps (as controlled
by temperature) until battery voltage is raised to 14.1 VDC (safe for lead acid or
    gel batteries).

ProMite Conditioning - Red and Green LED On
The ProMite will charge batteries to 14.1 VDC to complete charging while
conditioning batteries. Upon completion the ProMite will go to into its
    maintenance mode.
AC Power and Charging LED Status Indicators

The ProMite includes two LED indicators as shown below.
    Green "AC Power" LED indicator:
When on, the green LED indicates when AC Power is present.
    Red " Charging" LED indicator:
When on, the red LED indicates the ProMite is in its Automatic Charging Mode.

    Trouble Shooting Guide

Battery is Not Charging, Red and Green Indicator is “on”

Confirm all charger cables are installed with the correct polarity connections
at each battery, and that all connections are clean and tight. Reverse polarity
connections will blow output fuse, resulting in no output voltage.
With the charger on, read DC voltage at each battery. If any of the readings
are less than 13 VDC Proceed with the following:
    A. Disconnect AC power at the 120VAC outlet.
    B. Remove charger cables from each battery.
    C. Reconnect AC power and read DC Voltage across each output cable, if
output voltage is approximately 14.1DC the charger is ok and each battery
should be tested with a hydrometer with the charger and engine off to determine
if one or more batteries have bad cells. (batteries should always be replaced
in sets, and always the same type.)
    D. If there is no output when trying to read DC voltage check each output fuse
    and replace as needed.
If the DC voltage at each charger output is less than 13.0 volts contact ProMariner
    for product service.

No Red or Green LED Indicator

Check for loss of AC power at the 120VAC Outlet. Confirm GFCI (Ground Fault
Circuit Interrupter) has not tripped. Check with a meter or 120VAC test light
that AC is present at the end or your extension cord.
Confirm all charger cables are installed with the correct polarity connections
at each battery and that all connections are clean and tight.
With the AC Power removed and the engine off, check the charge level of
each battery with a DC meter or Handheld DC Tester. If there is no charge
level indication for a battery, check each battery with a hydrometer to determine
if it has one or more bad cells. (batteries should always be replaced in sets,
    and always the same type.)
If everything above checks out ok, contact ProMariner for product service.

Always make sure your trolling motor is unplugged while charging 24v to disrupt the circuit. You will have mid battery memory "50% charge" within a few months if the circuit is hot during charging continiusly Some put a switch between the jumper wire to make it easier. 36v goes "memory " even faster
