I'm part of an on call rotation and back when the economy went in the tank my company decided to stop paying on call pay, now we get "comp time". Basically, for every week I am on call they give me 12 hours just for being on call and then they match me hour for hour for any work I do after midnight or over the weekend. I usually end up with at least 2 extra days off every time I go on call and we have 6 people in the rotation so I'm on call about once every month and a half. Between these extra "comp" days plus my 3 weeks vacation and 2 personal days and 2 floating hollidays I almost never have to fight the crowds on the weekends. Only good thing about being on call.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

You just hit a nail on the head, as they grow up you will have more free time, cherish every moment you have with them now as it gets harder to tie em down to spend a day with you the older they get.

Them punks are skeered of guns, they just need to realise you dont mind using em. Told one that I didnt mind going back to jail at all, I'd get off on an insanity plea anyway, had plenty of character witnesses.

Asked a boy one time "you see that camo boat? Know what that means?" He replied " you duck hunt?" I replied " no, it means I know places to hide a body where no one will find it."
