Getting REAL NERVOUS

I had two different friends sell their houses in six days! I wasn't that lucky though. My house was on the market for a year! You will get over the nervous part DD if it stays on the market over time. It becomes a hassel as my house showed 3-5 times a week and was getting 15+ hits a week online. It was tough living in a house and keeping it looking like you didn't live in it. Especially with a four year old and a lab.

A word of advice... Get a quality realtor, sightseer's will drive you nuts. A good realtor is gonna weed thru those folks for you. Plus they already have a list of contacts.

I hated paying the realtor 6% but she did do like feeshrman said and only showed the house to pre-qualified people. It all worked out for the best for me though as the first house we built didn't turn out just like we wanted. The biggest mess up was my measurements for the garage so the boat would fit. We ended up selling the new house and built the one we are in today. I had the garage built to 27' deep so the Ranger would fit inside.

We're selling it ourselves to save that 6%. You're so right about keeping it clean. We may not have a dog but we have a Cat and a DonDon living there, bad enough LOL
