DD we had our parents over today and we had smoked turkey, smoked bologna, smoked deer roast, corn bread, buscuits, creamed corn, stewed potatoes, stewed veggies and topped that off with and apple pie laced with caramel, man I was so full I just took a nap during the race and then didn't even have supper, the best part of the day was my son came over early this morning and brought us breakfast. It has been a wonderful day today for our family!

We had a family boil. 60 pounds of crawfish, 20 pounds of shrimp (5 to 8 count), potatoes, corn on the cob (field corn from last year) and a few more vegetables in the mix. I'm making gumbo tomorrow from the left overs, add some bait fish in it too.
