    Do yall set your ping speed?Do yall change when your going fast and slow it down when fishing?Been running on the default setting and is too fast sometimes and too slow other times.Thanks

    I though ping speed would only need to be adjusted if two units were interfering with each other.Chart speed can make a big difference in in detail.What type of fish finder are you working with?I have both a Hummingbird and a Lowrance so I stay pretty much confused...

    Don't mess with the ping speed. you do want to set your screen speed to match your boat speed though

    Set it at 100%. Hits the target faster. Shows more fish before they move out from under the boat in shallow water.

    They are nice units but the screen speed setting is one of the things lacking. That thing ha a great screen and detail to it!!

    Saw a post on electronics board where someone else was complaining about scroll speed on that unit. They were told to use ping speed to adjust scroll. Dosnt make much sense to me but.
