Cray , if its like most it has 8 diesel Electric generators. The engines are about the same size as train engines. It's takes a lot of power to run one. Not sure if it has 8 or 10 thrusters on it. They have a DP system that will maintain a 4 inch position while drilling. The Semi I'm on now got a good test in April. A squall line popped up with 110 knt winds. With all 8 thrusters at 100 percent we only moved 75 ft off location. Got a t-shirt on that for the memories I guess.
The sweetest of all sounds is (Get the nets that's a 3 lb'er)
