When I started getting interested in pulling cranks.....everybody told me what to buy......I made a list of everything that I told my self I was not going to buy....5 years later I have bought everything on that list plus some more.....just no end to it lol
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Spindle, a terrova with ipilot will be the best thing you could ever buy for your boat for spider rigging or cranking.

Without a doubt RIP, best tool in my boat as far as trolling. Makes fishing alone alot easier too.

Absolutely, like having someone in the boat dedicated to running the trolling motor. They ain't cheap but I remember how mad I use to get in the wind with my old five speed foot control.

Y'all cracking me up. We take a pontoon and cast poles out the side and back, put poles wherever they will stay(under cushions, etc) and catch them cranking. What's an I pilot? Ha!

Ha! Its something that makes any type of trolling easier and more enjoyable! Also, I prefer rod holders over stuffed under saet cushions but that too is just personal preference.

Just messing with y'all. I have never had a troll rig but I have caught them before doing the above. It's just like any sport I guess. U can spend as much as the pocket book will allow and still want have exactly what u want. I fish out of three different boats according to the circumstances and I can promise u if I could haul all three to the lake I would use all three.

I bought a Terrova with IPilot along with a HB 798 and 597 last year. The UPS man delivered five Okuma 20 DX reels and rods to put them on today. I picked up 20 Crankbait at BPS last Sunday. I already have my reels spooled with 10 lb high visible line. I "think" I have enough to get me started.
