    check just to make sure if you have any gfci plug ins could be tripped if not ,,, call spec n it 'll be his fault hehe

    Can you turn it on and off? Just the dimming part stopped working? If so, turn it off and you'll be good til you can replace it.

    No. It will not turn off or on, no matter where I turn the knob, or push it. It's a push on type switch.

    Turn the breaker off. Pull the stat out of the junction box. It will have two wires connected to it. (If it is a single pole switch). Plus a ground wire (bare copper or green insulation). Disconnect the two wires and cap them with wire nuts and electric tape. Put the switch back in the junction box if you want to. Then turn the breaker back on. It will be fine.

    Major, just turn the stat switch off. It will be fine until you can replace it.
