I've always thought these camps were about fellowship, meeting new folks, making new friends, learning some new tricks and just having an all around good time. We've been going to camps since 2006 and we don't go with the expectation of catching limits or whoppers cause that's just not what it's about. Sippi folks have always made us feel welcome when we come down, and we always try to help out and contribute no matter what camp we go to, as do other "foreigners." I can't believe that those of you who are able to come won't just because you think the fish are too small. There's SO much more to these camps than the size of the fish and I feel sorry for you if you can't see it.

I have to travel over an hour to get anywhere, 3 to Pickwick, camp is about fellowship with fishing taking a back seat. Pickwick is full of quality fish if anyone is worried about that, the problem is the place is so darned purty you catch yourself gawking instead of fishing!

It is a beautiful area for sure, and the fishing is great. Roger and Bill Gant will attest to that. Below the dam has great fishing also, but the scenery is worth the trip, I don't care who you are!!!!! It's also a great Civil War area with Shiloh just a short trip away. It's a Great family, and historic spot.
