Pickwick/ Bay Springs in the fall would be an awesome experience. I know that the leaves changing and the sheer beauty of this lake would be amazing. This place is BIG though and can get real bad real quick in the wind, but it is a river and you can find a place out of the wind. I know there are plenty of fish as well. Seen plenty of pics of limits from this spring, while I was in Grenada watching the water jump, not catching a dang thing. JP Coleman has enough room for everybody on Pickwick. Piney Woods has a great campground on an Island on Bay Springs. Just my 2 pennies...
If you have never been up there you need to check it out one time anyway.

Pickwick in the fall is awesome!!!!! Been to 3 of he last 4 camps and nuttin at Nader, ole girl is feeling left out and who in the country would complain about going to the nations number 1 crappie spot. Campgounds at the North Abuntment are new and very nice, big pavillion there or an even bigger one below the dam, things huge, with a play ground there. Cabins at Hugh White are decent but there are a couple hotels close to Lakeway that are better for the money.

The rangers drove by and I stopped them to ask them about the boat. They said they were looking for who it belongs to so they can tell him to move. They are out enforcing the same rules here today...just seems like they were around more during fall camp. We could always stay at John Kyle State park...bet they would be happy to have us.
