It is kinda pricey but with it being so hard to find a really good fillet knife, I might have to try one of these. Good friend of mine told me about them and he ordered one and is gonna let me know how it works. Feelay this may be just what ya need.BUBBA BLADE VS. ELECTRIC KNIFE - YouTube

I will. I am sure it would take a little practice as with anything but after you got the hang of it you could really go thru em in a hurry.

I've seen those but I thought they were a gimmick. Maybe not.

Watch the videos of the guys filleting big tuna and wahoo with it. Keeping it sharp would be the key but I think once you got the hang of it you could fillet alot faster with it than an electric.

I bought the short one, I like my old Rapala better. The blade is too stiff, but works OK. I have no idea how I would sharpen it if needed.

scimitar blade shape is for cubing large cuts of meat, not really for filleting.

I used to do all my fish with a manual knife and was good at it. A GOOD electric knife is still faster, especially when either are a little dull. A dull manual knife is dangerous. A dull electric knife is just slower.
