    Excuse me for asking a dumb question but what type of harness is your fishing partner wearing?Just happened to notice and was curious!Is this the first spawn for the bream up toward Pickwick?

    Slab its a brace for a back injury. He fell of the cab of one his tractors a month or so ago and fractured some vertebrae and had to wear it until he heals up/

    I think they have already spawned once this year. I used to go up there a lot and usually caught them bedding in April. Like Sammy said that is a back brace that John Albert is wearing, he is lucky he is not paralyzed. He fell about 15 feet from the top of a John Deere tractor cab. That was just a few weeks ago. He is one tough guy, he never complained all weekend, and I know he was hurting.

    Nice haul....we caught over 100 in just 5 hours at Bay Springs and that was with the wife and kids....they kept me pretty busy!
